#uzedsmartads, How To Index Your Blogger Page Post URL on Google Search Console | #TechnicalsTube
Step 1: Verify Your Blogger Site on Google Search Console
Before indexing, your Blogger website must be verified in GSC.
-
Go to Google Search Console.
-
Click “Add Property” → Enter your Blogger site URL (use the exact URL, e.g.,
https://yourblogname.blogspot.com). -
Choose HTML tag verification (or any other method like Google Analytics if already set up).
-
Copy the verification code and paste it in Blogger > Theme > Edit HTML > Head Section.
-
Save changes and click Verify in GSC.
✅ Once verified, you can submit URLs for indexing.
Step 2: Copy the Post/Page URL
-
Open your Blogger dashboard.
-
Go to Posts → Select the post you want to index.
-
Copy the full URL of that post (e.g.,
https://yourblogname.blogspot.com/2025/09/how-to-index-your-blogger-post.html).
Step 3: Open URL Inspection in GSC
-
In Google Search Console, go to URL Inspection from the left menu.
-
Paste the full post URL into the search bar and press Enter.
Step 4: Request Indexing
-
GSC will check if the URL is already in Google’s index.
-
If not indexed, you will see: “URL is not on Google.”
-
-
Click “Request Indexing”.
-
Google will start the crawling and indexing process (usually takes a few minutes to a few hours, sometimes longer).
Step 5: Check Index Status
-
After a while, refresh the URL Inspection tool.
-
You should see: “URL is on Google”, meaning your post is now indexed and eligible to appear in search results.
Tips for Faster Indexing
-
Internal Linking: Link new posts to older posts; Google bots follow links faster.
-
Sitemap Submission: Go to GSC → Sitemaps, add
/sitemap.xml(Blogger automatically generates it), and submit. -
Social Sharing: Share your post on social media to get faster crawling signals.
-
Avoid Duplicate Content: Make sure your post is unique to prevent indexing issues.
